Peach Cobbler

Growing up in Michigan once August came around it was time for some absolutely gorgeous and juicy peaches. Over the weekend I bought an abundance of peaches and of course had to come up with a peach cobbler recipe and share it with you.
Peach Cobbler
For the peach filling
• 6 peaches, peeled, pitted & sliced
• 1 Tbls. lemon juice
• 1 c. + 2 Tbsp. sugar
• 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
• 3 Tbsp. corn starch

For the cobbler topping
• 1.25 c. Bisquick mix
• 1/4-1/2 c. milk
• 3 Tbsp. sugar
• 1.5 Tbsp. butter (melted)

• Combine the peaches, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and corn starch in a large bowl. Set aside for 30 minutes.
• Pre-heat oven to 350.
• Mix the Bisquick mix, milk, sugar and butter together.
•  Pour the peaches into a 9 x 9 baking dish. Drop the cobbler topping dough by the spoonful all over the peach filling.
• Bake for 20-30 minutes. Or until cobbler topping is golden brown and not doughy.
• Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Tight Knit Situation

 Despite the fact that many people find hosiery to be old fashion, I absolutely love it. It seems as though I have accumulated a massive hosiery collection. From sheers and nudes to black, and playful colors and patterns. It is important to wear when you have on expensive shoes or any shoes for that matter that you do not want to trash. You will never catch me wearing heels or any closed toe shoes without some sort of hosiery.

Per tradition you will see the Duchess of Cambridge nine times out of ten wearing some sort of hosiery.

 Gossip Girl fan? Then I am sure you have noticed that Queen B more often than not has some fabulous hosiery on.

What do you think of hosiery? Do you wear it?

Friday Five

{fall favorite lipsticks}
Good Morning Dolls. It's Friday again and I hope you had a fabulous week! My week consisted of plenty of shopping and hiding under the covers with Louie (my teddy bear) as storm after storm rolled in. What are you up to this weekend? I will be doing some serious baking with Michigan peaches!

Miss Universe from OPI

 What little girl didn't dream about being a princess. Living in the United States the closest you get to being a princess is being crowned at a beauty pageant. In honor of the Miss Universe pageant on September 12th OPI created a limited edition Miss Universe nail lacquer collection.

{It's MY Year, Congeniality is my Middle Name, Swimsuit...Nailed It and Crown me Already}

{It's MY Year}
It's MY Year is a rose wine with pink glitter. This would be cute on toes.
{Congeniality is my Middle Name}
Congeniality is my Middle Name is berry purple hue with gold glitter. If you love purple this is a color that you definitely want to own. It is absolutely gorgeous. I had it on for two days and every where I went someone was asking me what my polish color was.
{Swimsuit...Nailed It!}
Swimsuit...Nailed It! is a bright and shiny royal blue loaded with bright blue glitter. I am thinking this color could look gorgeous in the winter.
 {Crown Me Already}
Crown Me Already is silver packed glitter. This hue contains tiny silver glitter specks as well as large circle ones. You know that I am definitely not a big glitter fan....however I LOVE this polish. To be honest it looks like you have lace on your nails it's gorgeous. I have had this polish on my nails for three days now and people keep asking me how I got my nails to look like this. This is a definite collection must have!
