I cannot believe the Fourth of July is already next week,
summer is flying by and I feel like I am missing out on taking advantage of
prime summer weather. You know I love lists, and of course sharing them with
all of you – so without further ado here is a little preview of what I want to
experience in Michigan this summer.
Bike the Dequindre Cut, Belle Isle and Detroit
Visit one of the 115 lighthouses throughout the state
Take a hike around the Ledges in Grand Ledge and Fitzgerald Park
Head to Port Austin to see Turnip Rock
Spend the night on a boat
Lay on a Great Lakes Beach and watch the sunrise or sunset
Ride the sand dunes at Silver Lake
Stand Up Paddleboard and check out new scenery
Take a trip along M25
Head out for a ride on the Detroit Princess Riverboat
Dine waterside
Visit the Soo Locks for Engineer’s Day (June 29)
