This weekend I moved into my new house, and it hasn’t
stopped snowing since I arrived. While I have decided not to go all out for
Christmas this year I did decorate a lantern with my mum and grandma at
Thanksgiving. The lantern is now making my house feel a bit more like Christmas
inside. Ornaments, greenery and berries are what add a festive touch to this
Ikea lantern.
{ornaments, greenery, berries and ribbon}
{battery operated candle}
{ornaments large and small line the bottom}
{greenery added with berries on top of the ornaments and a deco ball}
{a festive holiday touch to any room}
YAY for moving into the new place! I love the lantern, I have the exact same one I picked up at Ikea but it's black. I just threw some ornaments in mine but the greenery and candle really add to it. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI have the same lantern from Ikea but in silver. What a great idea :) And I wish I had some snow here. It doesn't feel like winter at all!
ReplyDeleteI love lanterns - I can't wait to see your new house!

This lantern is so pretty! I have two old lanterns at home that I haven't had a clue what to do with - they kind of just sit out looking sad! This is a great way to spruce them up!
ReplyDeletePS - you probably know this but just in case, I saw that you were mentioned on Stripes and Sequins over the weekend! Congrats!
Gorgeous! I think I'm using some lanterns for my wedding in May. ;)
