Materials
• placemat
• ribbon
• glue gun (because I dont own a sewing machine :/)
• pins
• scissors
• embellishments
Step 1: Measure your hips and cute your ribbon to your deserved length - note don't forget to leave room for a bow!
Step 2: Center your ribbon so it is equal on both sides and pin the ribbon to one end of your placemat so you are sure to glue the proper area.Step 3: Glue the edges. I did the bottom and top edge so it wouldn't look bumpy. Then add any embellishment you'd like! I chose to make a ribbon bow.

ReplyDeleteThat is very cute! Some iron on hem tape would also work really well and allow you to wash it. I am embarrassed to admit that I own a sewing machine but don't know how to use it :-/
