Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients
• 1.5 c. sugar
• 1 c. salted butter, softened
• 2 large eggs
• 2 3/4 c. flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 2 tsp. cream of tartar
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/4 c. sugar
• 1 Tbls. cinnamon
Directions
• Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream the 1.5 cups sugar, butter and eggs together in a large bowl.
• In another bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
• Add flour mixture to creamed mixture and mix until well combined.
• In a small bowl mix remaining sugar and cinnamon
• Shape dough into balls and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place two inches apart on a non-stick cookie sheet.
Bake 7-8 minutes or until done.

ReplyDeleteI love gifting cookies in cute little bags... people always seem more impressed when you put effort into the packaging as well! I think my favorite cookie would involve white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts... and lots of 'em!!

ReplyDeleteCream of tar tar? I only put it in meringues (which dipped in chocolate are my favourite cookie). I will have to make your recipe. yum!
