The most adorable LWD

The Little White Dress is my absolute favorite piece in my summer wardrobe this year. There are so many different little white dresses out there, from the simple cotton dress to the jazzed up Sex and the City style LWD! I am loving them all. Not to mention accessorizing is so much fun! Flip flops and wedges to heels and peep toes paired with bangles or a statement necklace. I dress up my summer LWD with heels or wedges depending on the occassion and time of time with a sleek ponytail or "messy" updo and a statement necklace. Classy and is the perfect day or evening outfit.

how to cut a mango

How to select the perfect mango
When choosing a mango, pick one that is plump and heavy for its size. Most importantly, the mango should be fragrant when held near your nose. If you'll be using the mango right away, you will want to find a ripe one. Mangos are ripe when you can indent them slightly with your thumb. (Avoid mangos that are so ripe, they feel mushy, or mangos that have brown marks.) Unripe (but not green) mangos will ripen in a few days when left on your counter.
Note: Refrigerate a ripe mango to make it last longer.

Mangos have a very large, flat seed, so they cannot be sliced through the center.
• Place the mango with one flat side resting on the cutting board.
• Slice the mango lengthwise along the flat side next to the seed.
• Turn mango over and repeat on the other side. You should have two halves of mango pulp in the skin.

Without cutting through the skin make horizontal cuts into the mango like pictured above.

Now you want to cut the mango vertical without cutting into the skin.

You'll notice you have a cross hatched pattern.

• Pick up the cross-cut mango half.
• Place your thumbs gently on either end.
• Place your fingers underneath in the center.
• Gently push upward with your fingers while pressing down with your thumbs to turn the diced pulp inside out in the skin.

• Carefully slice out the diced pulp by cutting between the cubed mango pulp and the skin.
• Discard skin.
