Seasonal Flowers SPRING

Picking wedding flowers in season can save you a bunch of money. Sure today you can have flowers mailed to you from the other side of the world, you’ll just be paying a premium for that.

Personally I am basing my wedding date on when the flowers I want will be in season. I have put together a guide to help you know when certain flowers are in season. It has helped me tremendously maybe it will help you too! I will separate each post by season.

Spring Wedding Flowers in Season

Anemone: Blue, red, pink, white Jan-May and Aug-Dec.

Boronia: Pink April-May

Casa Blanca Lily: White January-October

Daffodil: Yellow January-Early May

Delphinium: White, Blue April- October

Lilacs: Violet

Peony: Pink or White * Late Spring – Early Summer

Star Gazer Lily: Pink and White January-October

Tulip: Many colors, including white, pink, yellow, red, and purple December-April

Waxflower: pinky purple and white

Do you have any spring flower favorites?

I love pansies and daisies! I had a May wedding and my bridesmaids wore dark purple. I wanted to use pansies, but the florist said it wouldn't really work.. so I stuck with daisies! They are both very happy flowers!

This is so helpful because I am still on the hunt for the "perfect" spring flower for my sisters shower centerpieces!
